President. Prior to that I was the U16 Commissioner for 3 seasons.
How did you get started volunteering with ringette?
I was looking for a way to give back to the sport my daughters love.
What motivates you to give back to ringette?
Keep the sport strong for the future.
How long have you been involved with ringette?
My daughters have been playing for 9 seasons and I have been volunteering for 5.
Do you have kids that play? What level?
Yes 2. They played in U14B and U16B last season.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering with RRA?
It is such a great group of welcoming people that all want to see the sport grow.
What is the most challenging part of your volunteer position with RRA?
Finding the time to make sure everything is done to the best of my abilities.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to get more involved in our association?
We are always in need of more volunteers. If you have any interest at all reach out. We have opportunities of all sizes.
